Storytelling is how humans make sense of the world. It’s how we evolved purpose and vision and a sense of history. Fast forward a few thousand years, and podcasting becomes the logical extension of it. It came to me as a way to find my voice and do something meaningful after a long and rewarding but not-overly-meaningful career in creative marketing. It gave me a way to share my interests in historical horror, disaster preparation, personal safety, and even mental health advocacy.

Disasters have the power to make people feel better and more secure about their own lives – as confirmed by thousands of listeners who have shared their own stories with me over the past five years. What began as a way to educate and entertain while making people sick to their stomachs has evolved into something much more meaningful. You'll have to find out for yourself.
